Fellowship 24 Opens at Silver Eye
Taking the Fellowship 24 competitionas a point of departure, this exhibition reflects the unique perspectives of this year's artists. Works in this exhibition speak to the power of devotion in many forms, place as an intersection of personal, social, and political concerns, and visual language as a means to new narratives.

On March 12, the Bushy Run Battlefield Heritage Society hosted the 243rd birthday of Pennsylvania when King Charles II granted a charter to William Penn. Two Hundred and twenty five guest including adults and a large amount of children were present.

GLASS CENTER GIVES $15 MILLION EXPANSION PROGRESS REPORT
The doors are open again after six weeks of major demolition and reconstruction at Pittsburgh Glass Center (PGC), one of the top public access glass art centers in the US. The $15 million expansion is not complete, but everyone is welcome to take a glass class, watch glassblowing demonstrations, and explore the growing facility.

PITTSBURGH GLASSBLOWER ON NETFLIX'S BLOWN AWAY
Pittsburgh glassblower Leana "Quade" competes in "Blown Away" Season 4, a glassblowing competition on Netflix. All 10 episodes of Season 4 will be released on Friday, March 8, 2024. Quade, who is from Cleveland, lives in Pittsburgh and works at Pittsburgh Glass Center (PGC).

IUP Symphony Orchestra Partners with Local Rock Band, Somebody to Love, for Unique Concert
Classical music meets rock music when Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Symphony Orchestra collaborates with the local rock band, Somebody to Love, for a concert entitled, “Classic Meets Rock.” Music from the Beatles, Elton John, Toto, Aretha Franklin, and more will be featured in the concert.

Woodville Announces Porch Restoration Project
If you’ve been to Woodville, you know the iconic front porch with its decorative lattice. Like any older building, Woodville needs periodic maintenance. Right now, its graceful front porch is in desperate need of restoration and so we are seeking grants and donations to do this work for which the estimate is $42,000.
